Applications:
1. Ceramic Coating for Lithium-ion Battery Separators
Orifice Adjustment and Current Interruption Protection: Utilizing its plate-like crystal structure, it expands in volume when the current is too high or the temperature rises, closing the current conduction orifices of the separator, blocking the current, and improving safety.
Enhanced Thermal Stability: It has excellent heat resistance, improving the deformation stability of polyolefin (PP/PE) separators at high temperatures, preventing large-area short circuits caused by separator shrinkage.
Thermal Conductivity and Dissipation: It improves the poor thermal conductivity of the separator, assisting in the conduction of heat inside the battery and reducing the risk of thermal runaway.
2. Edge Coating for Lithium-ion Battery Electrodes
Burry Coverage and Insulation: Specifically coated on the edges of the positive electrode, utilizing its slightly soft texture and good dispersibility, it effectively covers burrs generated during cutting, preventing puncture of the separator and improving battery assembly yield.
Tool Protection: Compared to traditional alumina, it causes less damage to cutting tools.
